Northern Arizona Property Values for 2009

People keep asking me, “What will prices be doing in 2009?” The short answer is always the same; we are going to have to wait and see.
The more complicated answer is that I anticipate the decline in Northern Arizona property values to bottom out in sometime in 2009. When we hit bottom out is another question. There are some flickers of market change but these have been fleeting. Flagstaff seems to be continuing its decline without restraint. Segments of the Sedona market are flat, the top is still in free fall. Prescott area properties are limping along with some signs of bottoming but Prescott is a more diversified market.
